Below you will find the products that we have found most useful and budget-friendly since we started our full-time RV adventure. Click on the pictures to be taken directly to the amazon page for the product!
1. LogicBlue Technology LevelMatePRO Wireless Vehicle RV Leveling System
When it comes to leveling your RV, it can be quite a pain. But with the LevelMatePRO, it’s a breeze! No more reading the little bubbles on traditional levels. This is electronic and connects directly to your phone to tell you where you are not level. My husband and I love it!
2. STORAGENIE K Cup Holder for Keurig
This has really come in handy to declutter k-cup boxes in our already tiny kitchen!
3. Eazy2hD 4 Pack Flying Insect Screen for RV
We used this to cover our refrigerator and furnace vents as we have heard that bugs like to build their nests in there. It’s better safe than sorry!
4. Microfiber Towel Set
Our regular towels weren’t drying efficiently in the RV and wasn’t conducive to keeping the humidity level down, so we got these great microfiber towels. I bought two sets so we each have a towel and hand towel. They dry fast and are very soft! I read the reviews and people said to not put them in the dryer because it would mess them up. So I normally wash them and hang dry them. We love them!
5. HUYAW Happy Camper Camping Welcome Decorative Throw Pillow Covers
This was a fun purchase! I already had the throw pillows from before we downsized, so I kept those and bought these cute, decorative covers for the RV! Definitely makes it feel more like home!
6. MISSLO Hanging Jewelry Organizer
I haven’t fully unpacked and organized all of my jewelry yet, but this is a great storage solution for jewelry on the go. It will hang perfectly in my wardrobe in the RV.
7. MSSOHKAN Camping Table
This is the perfect little lightweight table to put between our two reclining camp chairs to put drinks and the essential citronella candle on!
8. ECOBERI Collapsible Food Storage Containers
These have been a life and space saver! Living full time in an RV means not much space and learning how to become a master at Tetris to utilize what space you do have. These collapsible, silicone food storage containers help me save space and they haven’t gotten discolored yet like the plastic ones I used to have in my home. I’m impressed!
9. Lobani Adventure Await Camping Camper Spare Tire Cover
This was another fun purchase! I love making our RV OURS and personalizing both the inside and outside! I put up wedding pictures and other decor on the inside and this spare tire cover helps both protect and decorate our exterior!
10. Legging Storage Bag Storage Hanger
This has come in handy in my wardrobe to easily store rolled clothing. Fair warning, it is a little long for the standard beside the bed wardrobes, so I did have to trim off the bottom half, but it still works great!
11. Cupboard Bars Tension Rods
These tension bars are a must to keep things from falling out of cupboards after travel. Add these to your cart!
12. ULG 1 Pack Over Door Organizer with 5 Large Pockets 10 Mesh Side Pockets
THIS is probably one of my favorite purchases! We put it in the utility closet in our RV and it pretty much DOUBLED our storage space. It is sturdy, hangs on the door easily, and gives you SO MUCH more space for things! P.s. This is where I store some more kitchen items, because storage space in the kitchen is limited.
13. SONGMICS 30 Inches Folding Storage Ottoman Bench with Flipping Lid
In our RV we don’t have a reclining loveseat. Our sofa folds out into a bed and it is probably the most uncomfortable thing to sit on in the whole RV. I purchased this to help us stretch out until we can upgrade our sofa to a reclining loveseat. It is very sturdy and also doubles as extra storage. It folds down for easy storage and is very functional!
14. Deyilian 2 Pack 12 Large Mesh Pockets Closet Door Hanging Shoe Rack Organizer
This has helped clear up our “shoe clutter” that always seemed to pile up by the main door of the RV. I mounted them in the inside of the utility closet that is just inside the front door and now there is no more mess! It adheres to the wall and is very sturdy!
15. Baby Proofing Corner Protector
These have been a lifesaver for my knees because I always bumped into the corners on the base of the bed when I was making it. I installed these on the corners of the base and now there’s no more bruises all over my knees!
16. Prest-O-Fit 36923 2-2001 Patio Rug Stakes
These help keep my outdoor patio rug in one place! I love that they are metal and can be hammered into tough soil with no problem!
17. Be Smart Get Prepared 100Piece First Aid Kit, Exceeds OSHA Ansi Standards for 10 People
This one is pretty self explanatory, however I would like to point out that I got one that was big enough for the max amount of people that our RV can sleep. I am so glad that I did this because it has come in handy multiple times helping out other campers in the campground who weren’t as prepared!
18. TETOTE Adhesive Black Shower Caddy
This is another one of my favorite purchases. I haven’t had any issues with it sticking to the shower wall. It holds my big bottles of shampoo and conditioner with ease and things don’t really fall out of it on travel days. I hung this on the wall underneath the shower head to maximize space in our already small shower stall and I barely notice that they are there.
19. Toilet Paper Holder with Shelf
This has been a great addition to the bathroom as well. I will say though that the adhesive was not the best and it kept falling off the wall. We stuck it back up with some 3M double sided mounting tape and haven’t had any issues since!
20. Master Lock 379ATPY Universal Trailer Hitch Lock
This serves its purpose as a deterrent against someone wanting to steal your RV. We don’t worry about it as much right now because we live where we work and are here most of the time. However, when we start doing more traveling I know it will come in handy!
21. Camco Electric Tongue Jack Head Cover
This is great for protecting our electric tongue jack from the weather and elements. I was worried about electronics and rain, but now I don’t have to worry anymore. I know a lot of people just use a 5-gallon bucket, but I don’t have to worry about this on travel days and I love that!
22. Searik Over The Sink Dish Drying Rack
Our kitchen space is already limited and I was stressing over where to put (and store) a dish drying rack in the RV. This solves that issue and also gives us added “counter” space when it is put over the sink. I love it!
23. DELITON Adhesive Hooks
These are great to hang towels and hand towels in the bathroom! I put two on the back of the bathroom door for towels and another near the sink for the hand towel. Haven’t had an issue with the adhesive on these either!
24. Joom Self-Adhesive Paper Towel Holder
This has been a great space saver in the kitchen! I mounted it on the underside of my top kitchen cabinets and haven’t had any issues with it sticking!
25. HNZIGE Small Baskets Fabric Storage Baskets
These small storage baskets have come in handy in the cubby holes that are in the bedroom. I use these to organize my folded clothes!
26. Hansleep Memory Foam Short Queen Mattress Topper
Our stock mattress was probably almost as uncomfortable as our couch, so I was desperately searching for a solution to make it more comfortable. Going from a Sleep Number to an RV mattress was QUITE an adjustment, so when I found this I was hopeful. The cooling layer works great but it is pretty thin. Because it didn’t provide as much support as I was hoping for, I ended up adding the next product to it and now our RV mattress is comfy!
27. ZINUS 1.5/3/4-inch Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress Topper
We got the 3 inch topper and put the other mattress topper discussed above on top of it and now our bed doesn’t kill us every night!
28. STATINT Window Film Privacy One Way Mirror Glass Tint
We added this to some windows (haven’t done them all yet) because we wanted the added privacy as well as the protection from the heat. So far we have noticed a change in the temperature inside the RV and now I can leave a window curtain open for the cat to look out without everyone being able to see inside!
29. Char-Griller E8217 Flat Iron Portable Table Top 17” Gas Griddle Propane Grill
My husband says that this performs as well as a name brand at a fraction of the cost! We used this for a gathering we had for the 4th of July and was able to cook 12 hamburgers on it and then turned around and cooked two packs of hot dogs on it, so it is pretty roomy!
30. Stromberg Carlson JBP-T217.2 Tandem Axle T-Chock
These have drastically reduced excess bounce and shaking in the RV. They are extremely easy to install and are a MUST to add to your leveling and stabilization system!
31. TonGass (2-Pack) RV Waste Valves Handles
These are a must have to replace the plastic waste valve handles that come factory standard on most RVs. Ours had already broken and these are nice and sturdy!
32. QWORK 10-100V Battery Capacity Monitor Gauge Meter with Buzzer Alarm
This was easy to install and is easy to read. It is a must have to help monitor your battery capacity if your RV does not have that capability on it’s control panel!
33. Retevis RT22 Walkie Talkies
We had originally purchased some cheaper ones, but they weren’t loud enough to hear over the sounds of the truck and the road as we were trying to communicate while backing into places. These definitely do the trick. My one complaint is that if you try to use the headset it drastically reduces the volume. We just don’t use the headsets and they work great! Very small and easily storable!
34. B’laster 16-TDL Advanced Dry Lube with Teflon
This is a very practical lube to avoid the dirt build up that typically happens on traditional grease. We use it to lube our slide wires and it is great!
35. Hourleey Water Pressure Regulator Valve
This is a must to monitor and adjust the water pressure going into your water lines in the RV. Put this in your card to avoid too much pressure going into your lines and causing a blowout.
36. Hayden Automotive 405 Ultra-Cool Tube and Fin Transmission Cooler
My husband LOVES this thing. We have a Nissan Titan hauling our Keystone Passport and were having some near overheating issues on hot days when we were going up hills. That is no longer an issue since this transmission cooler was installed!
37. WillingHeart 63″ Car Wash Mop
This is what we use to wash the RV and the truck. The long handle is, well, handy and it breaks down for easy storage. We love it!
38. Triumpeek 3/4″ Garden Hose Connector, Set of 9 Garden Hose Quick Connect Fittings
These quick connect fittings for our water hoses are a time and finger-saving option for quick connections to our water supply!
39. YA MI Telescoping Ladders, 12.5 FT Aluminum Lightweight Extension Ladders for RV
Our RV does not have a ladder on the back, so we needed a solution to get on the roof. This is a space saving, budget-friendly and lightweight option to get onto your roof and high places of the RV. It is a little wobbly, but if you have a good spotter you should be good. Not recommended for solo travelers though.
40. Quick Products QPRBAB Deluxe RV Bumper Receiver Adapter
We bought this so that we can put a hitch mount bike rack on the back of the RV. We haven’t utilized it yet because we are stationary and just purchased our bikes, but its a great option if you need a way to add to your RV bumper!
41. Camco 39665 Deluxe 10′ Sewer Hose Extension
I don’t think you can go wrong with Camco products when it comes to sewer. This is heavy duty and I love the swivel fittings!
42. CURT 25012 Trailer Coupler Pin with 12-Inch Chain
It is always good to have spares of these hanging around for travel days and at this price you can’t beat it!
43. 4Pcs Magnetic Bubble Spirit Level
These little magnetic levels came in to handy before we purchased our electronic leveler. We placed one above each stabilizer under the trailer so that we could monitor how level we were as we were setting up. We will still use them as I like having a backup to electronics and at the price you can’t beat it!
44. AstroAI Digital Tire Pressure Gauge
This is great for checking tire pressure on the go! We will eventually get a TPMS, but for now this does the job!
45. M1A2 RV Surge Protector 30 Amp
This is just a staple that everyone needs. This surge protector has saved us a few times as breakers have gotten overheated and tripped here at the campsite we are currently at. Protect yourself and your RV and put this in your cart!
